2.1 Frame

Self-designed and manufactured frame with all floors covered, optimized design of loaded structure, torsion-resistant box-typed structure, made of imported high-tension steel. Boxes in which outriggers are stowed lie between 2nd and 3rd axle and in the rear of the frame. Front and rear tow-hooks are available.

2.3 Transmission system

2.3.1 Transmission

Germany ZF automatic transmission (Model 6HP900) constituted by hydraulic torque converter, lockup clutch and planetary transmission gearbox, is stable and reliable. 6 forward and 1 reverse speed.

2.7 Carrier cab
Full dimension, fully enclosed cab, good sealing, anti-vibration and corrosion- proof. 3 windshield wipers, rear vision mirrors of large view, electric control window washers, safety glasses, electric lifts of door and window, heater with defrosting device, adjustable seats, air conditioner, a stowage compartment are available. Left-hand steering wheel is adjustable for height and inclination. Radio-cassette with CD player and air conditioner as standard.

2.8 Hydraulic system

Fixed displacement pump connected to engine through transmission and PTO provides hydraulic power for steering and hydraulic outriggers’ operation.

2.9 Hydraulic outriggers

4 hydraulic outriggers can be hydraulically operated. There is a control console on each side of the carrier respectively. Levels for leveling the vehicle, illuminators and accelerator speed-up button are available. The outrigger floats are stowed under the jacks by glide devices. Outriggers are designed to raise the vehicle for operations in all kinds of working condition. (Without 5th outrigger, 360° swing on fully-extended outriggers)
Outrigger span (longitudinal×transversal): 7.56m×7.6m.

2.10 Electrical equipment

24V DC, negative ground, 2 batteries. Lighting device comprises of front headlamp, fog light and reversing light etc., complied to the relative regulations in China National Standard.

3. Crane Superstructure

The XCMG roller slewing bearing as connection of the carrier and the crane superstructure can rotate 360° continuously. The roller bed is sealed to resist water and dust.

3.3 Hydraulic system

Hydraulic system is a constant power and variable displacement system of cost energy and high efficiency. Combined with PLC, it can automatically adjust flow and pressure delivered by the system according to the change of load, control speed precisely and sensitively. Superstructure hydraulic system adopts pilot electro hydraulic proportional control and has the function of load-feedback. Multi-pump control is used for improving the performance of combined operation, including a closed control for slewing; a load sensing control for telescoping and elevating system improving the control accuracy; Load free-down control for elevating down saves energy. The elevating balance valve retarding control based on load pressure makes a safer operation.

3.4 Oil cooler

Oil cooler installed in hydraulic system in series prolongs the useful life of hydraulic oil, increases the working life of hydraulic parts.

3.5 Control

Electro hydraulic proportional pilot control is carried out by 2 self-centering 4-way joysticks in the carrier cab. All movements of the crane are controlled by hydraulic pilot and stepless speed variation control through variable piston pump and proportional valve.
The electro hydraulic proportional pilot control system adopting advanced PLC technology is standard equipment. It has the function of logic control and electro hydraulic proportional control. High integrated degree, convenient and quick diagnosis, easy and comfortable operation, control signals and operation specification curve set and adjusted by digit improve the operation performance and sensitivity.
3.6 Main winch

Axial-piston variable-displacement motor, compact and high performance professionally made planetary gear reducer with wet, disc brake, drum with special rope groove and rotation resistance wire rope are available. Rexroth variable-displacement motor A6V and Bucher load sensitive feedback valve are available.

3.7 Auxiliary winch:

3.9 Slewing mechanism

Axial-piston constant displacement motor, compact and high performance planetary gear reducer with wet brake are available. Stepless speed regulation is from 0 to 2 rpm.

The roller slewing bearing as connection of the carrier and the crane superstructure can rotate 360° continuously. The roller bed is sealed to resist water and dust.

3.11 Telescoping boom

Made of high tension torsion-resistant structural steel, torsion proof, consists of one base boom and 4 telescoping sections with U-typed cross-section. Adjustable spacers supporting main boom are available. The main boom is telescoped in sequence plus synchronization by two double-action reciprocating hydraulic cylinder plus wire ropes. 6 sheaves on boom top are standard equipment.

3.11 Crane cab

Streamlined fully enclosed crane cab, good sealing and corrosion-proof, safe and comfortable. A large front window with sunscreen has no blind area. Wipers on front and roof windows, safety glasses, adjustable seats, joysticks on the armrests of the seats and an open outside door are available. Standard controllers and indicators are arranged ergonomically. Heater and air conditioner are available. Crane cab can be tilted backwards 20°.

3.12 Safety devices

Safety devices in hydraulic system are two-way hydraulic valve, counterbalance valve, relief valve.
XCMG PAT Safety control system: adopts advanced micro-processor technology and embedded operating system, powerful function, less power consumption, high sensitivity and easy to operate. Large screen liquid crystal indicator shows lifting operation data in the way of Chinese and chart such as moment percentage, real lifting capacity, rated lifting capacity, working radius, boom length/angle, max. lifting height, working condition code, parts of line, limited angle, error code, etc. Warning and overload control effectively prevent accident during lifting operation. Special angle limit makes reliable operation in complex working condition. Overload memory (black box) is available.
XCMG PAT Safety control system includes indicator, center controller, length /angle /pressure sensors, overhoist switch, etc.
Rope-end limiter switch makes three turns of rope left on the drum.
Hoist limiter switch keep the lifting operation in specified limit.

3.13 Counterweight

Approx. 19.2t combination of counterweights comprising of 8.3t basic, a 6t one and a 4.9t one, with the ability of self-assembly
3.14 Lattice folding jib
Made of high tension steel, with the length of 10.6~18.1m.
It is stowed along the side of the boom when the vehicle is traveling on road.

3.16 Superstructure lubricating device
